My Thanksgiving Weekend

I'm probably the worst Millennial ever. At least, I'm the worst Millennial ever when it comes to documenting my life.Millennials are known (and mocked) for their selfie-obsessed tendencies and for documenting everything they do with photos on their social media pages. While many  aspects of the Millennial label fit me to a T, this is not one of them. I do fun things and walk away without any photographic proof that it happened. Now, on one hand, that's probably not a bad thing. It means I'm enjoying myself so much that I don't think about taking pictures. On the other hand, it's a bit of a downer to get done doing something cool and not have a photo to help me remember and commemorate the occasion.Like this past Friday, when I woke up long before the sun to drive seven and a half hours to surprise one of my best friends at her baby shower. No one knew I was coming, so I completely surprised her. Her jaw actually dropped and everything. The party was fun and then I got to spend another day and a half hanging out with her. About an hour after I left, I got a text from her asking if I had taken any pictures of us while I was there.Uh...Nope. I've got nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.I'm so bummed! She looked so cute with her 38 week pregger belly and I didn't take a single picture with her. Insert face-palm here. The good news is that I'll be going back to see her sometime after the baby comes, and I'm fairly confident I'll take plenty of pictures then!Due to a storm moving in, I ended up leaving suddenly a day early, so my weekend was a little crazy (but fun), even if I have no photographic proof. :)I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! In lieu of a pic from this weekend, here’s one of my favorites of us from two years ago in one of our favorite places! ☺️
